David Havelin of Irish Whiskey Notes in Dublin reports in a comment here that Castle Brands may be dropping distribution of the Clontarf Special Reserve bottling in the U.S. So if you're a fan of that you might consider stocking up on a few bottles or get in touch with Castle Brands to express your desire to keep it available here.

Maybe it's market performance or a need in a very tough economy to conserve and focus marketing resources on fewer export brands. Or a combination. Dunno.
